Lots of people use popular ringtones to make a statement about who they are. When someone calls you and your phone plays your favorite song, this is a good way to put a smile on your face and make the world see you in a particular way.

Another practical use is in having different ring tones for different people. Suppose you are in one place and your mobile phone is in another. If you only have one ring tone, you can't know if you must run and get your ringing cell phone or not. But with one ringtone for your girlfriend, one for your Grandpa, one for your irritating neighbor who never stops calling, you will always know whether it is necessary to make the effort.

So go ahead and find some ringtones that you like to hear. These can save you some worry in situations you wouldn't initially know of.
